Look around you. What do all these men have in common?

They're gay or bisexual. They're good-looking, they're ugly, they're fat, they're skinny, they're cute, they're fierce, they've got bad teeth, perfect skin, nice pecs, knock knees, love handles, firm butts, saggy tits and they ALL sometimes have problems with the way they look.

Sometimes we all feel crap about the way we look and we can sometimes want to put a paper bag over our heads and lock ourselves away.

As gay men there is a lot of pressure to look perfect all the time. But we can't always be air-brushed and well-lit. Because of this pressure, it's not unusual for some men to look in the mirror and only see their bad points.

Don't believe the hype - attractiveness is about a lot more than whether someone is "good-looking" or not. What we find attractive differs from person to person. I'm sure we've all had mates who fancied people we think are mingers, or had arguments about whether or not someone is sexy.

People can be attractive because of the way they look, the way they hold themselves, the way they walk, the way they dress, the way they talk or listen, the shape of their body, their hair (or lack of it), their sense of humour, their life experience, their cock size, the way they smell.... and that means YOU!

If you find it difficult to think of yourself as attractive and it worries you, come and talk to us at Gay Men's Health.

Who's looking at ya Babe!
