Caring for a person with dementia can cause feelings of isolation. This can be exacerbated by people not understanding different lifestyles. The Alzheimer's Society recognise the needs of older gay men and lesbian women and those caring for a relative, partner or friend with any type of dementia, including Aids-related dementia. The Alzheimer's Society Gay and Lesbian Carers Network provides a telephone helpline service staffed by gay men and lesbian women. These trained and skilled volunteers are able to offer a listening ear. Please help the Alzheimer's Society to continue this vital work by entering their online raffle

Entirely non-commercial and not run for profit

OUT is a new generation of gay community that wants to enjoy talking, socialising and having fun with friends around the country and indeed the world without the feeling that everyone's just interested in sex and without the overt commercialisation that plagues the internet and gay life. Although this site exists as the online meeting place of the community, everyone is encouraged to organise real world events and to attend those that others suggest. There's also major events where hundreds of guys get together for a great night OUT.
