What We Offer
Gay Men’s Health currently comprises three main projects, from which a range of services and opportunities are provided, including:
free, confidential and professional counselling
information and advice on safer sex
leaflets, posters and campaigns
remote reporting of crimes to the police on your behalf
peer education on the gay scene and internet
information and support around HIV testing
free condoms and lubricant for gay and bisexual men
groupwork for gay and bisexual men living with HIV
research on health-related issues
challenging HIV stigma and discrimination
information on Sexually Transmitted Infections
groups for gay and bi men aged 40+
Each of these services, plus many others that we provide forms an integral and essential part of the holistic approach that the agency takes. Gay Men's Health believes strongly in a process of peer education, which simply means that gay and bisexual men and their friends are the best-placed people to educate each other.
