Condom Failure
The two main ways that condoms can fail to protect you are that they either slip off during sex or they become damaged / burst / split during use.
The vast majority of condom failures are caused by incorrect use - e.g. not putting them on correctly or not using enough (or any) lube for anal sex.
You may have heard claims from some sources that HIV can actually get through condoms - however these claims contradict all trustworthy scientific evidence.
