GMH is registered with easyfundraising.org.uk so it is now possible to raise money for GMH by doing what you were already probably doing anyway: shopping online!
And best of all, the money you raise for us needn’t cost you a penny.
There are two steps to fundraising for GMH. First you need to register an account here and click on the ‘Sign Me Up’ button, follow the instructions then that’s it – you’re registered. The whole thing really couldn’t be much easier to set up.
Second comes the fun bit – the shopping. Whenever you’re in the mood to spend some pennies head over to easyfundraising.org.uk first, login, and see if your retailer of choice is a participant.
For example, if you go to the website and search for Amazon you’ll be taken to easyfundraising.org.uk/amazon and there’s a button ‘Go Shopping And Raise Funds’. If you click that you’ll be taken to the retailer – in this case Amazon. And that’s it! A percentage of what you spend will automatically be donated to GMH and you can track how much you’ve raised each time you log in.
There are over 2000 stores that will provide donations to GMH for online shopping including Amazon, John Lewis, Apple and Sainsbury. So it’s always worth checking to see if your chosen retailer is listed - you can see a full list here.
We recommend you check out the handy Find And Remind browser extension too. You can use Find & Remind to search for easyfundraising retailers and it will automatically provide a handy drop-down reminder every time you visit one of their partner sites to make sure that you never forget to claim a donation.
